Miep acquires Zorgassist
As of 1 April 2023, Miep Huishoudservice en begeleiding, headquartered in Zierikzee, has acquired the household support activities of Zorgassist. Miep and Zorgassist provide household support to clients at home in the Netherlands.
Both organisations have already worked together and fit well together. For Miep, this means an attractive expansion with new municipalities and strengthening its position in the municipalities where its currently active.
Miep employs almost 3,000 employees, including the 450 employees of Zorgassist. These employees bring joy and happiness to more than 15,000 clients in about 200 municipalities. Jan Koster, general manager of Miep: “450 more little rays of sunshines!”
Orange Corporate Finance advised and guided Zorgassist through the transaction process.
Zorgassist
Zorgassist was founded in 2007 and is located in Leeuwarden. Director and owner Peter Liezenga, focuses with Zorgassist on organising household support throughout the Netherlands via the Social Support Act (WMO) and Long-term Care Act (WLZ). The 450 employees provide household support to about 2,500 clients.
Miep Huishoudservice en begeleiding
Miep provides household support to clients by keeping their home clean and liveable. At Miep, it is important to have multiple regional offices to be close to its clients. Miep has offices in Leeuwarden, Schagen, Apeldoorn and Zierikzee (head office).
